JAMMU, Jan 27: No exchange of sweets took place between BSF and Rangers along the International Border (IB) on Republic Day.
The reason cited was ceasefire violations by Pakistan side a couple of months back in Arnia sector.
The BSF and Rangers exchange sweets and greetings on National Days and major festivals of India and Pakistan.
However, as per the officials, there was no exchange of sweets and greetings between the two sides on Republic Day yesterday.
