POONCH, July 5: District Magistrate, Poonch has directed all the Petrol Pump owners/ managers not to dispense fuel/petrol to the two-wheeler riders, without wearing crash helmets in Poonch district.
An order issued here in this connection said that in view of the increasing road accidents, specially involving bikes in the district, it has been directed to all the Traffic police/Transport officers to strictly enforce the traffic rules and check this menace. The Petrol Pump operators have been directed not to provide fuel/ petrol to the bike/ two wheeler riders in the jurisdiction of Poonch district. They were also directed to install CCTVs at their petrol pumps, where Executive Magistrates will check CCTV footage any time during working hours.
