No Kashmiri crosses over to PoK

SRINAGAR, July 6:
For the second week, no Kashmiri crossed over to other side of the Line of Control (LoC), while 36 residents of Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) arrived here today to meet their relatives separated in 1947 partition.
As many as 11 returnees also crossed sides at the Kaman post, the last Indian military post on this side of the LoC in Uri sector, official sources said this afternoon. They said for the second consecutive week no Kashmiri resident crossed over to other side of the LoC .
However, nine PoK resident, who had arrived here returned to their homes. They included four women and as many children, sources said.
They said 36 PoK residents arrived at Kaman post after crossing the Aman Setu, peace bridge in Uri sector. The guests included 10 women and 12 children.
Two Kashmiris, who had gone to PoK in previous weeks returned to their homes in the Karvan-e-Aman bus, operating between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad, capital of PoK since April 7, 2005. (UNI)
