These seems no let up in suicide cases in the State. The two divisions — Jammu and Kashmir continue to face this reality. Almost every day one or two suicide incidents are reported. The victims mostly include women and teens. The social scientists, psychologists religious preachers and statesmen should think over the issue seriously. The society cannot afford such incidents as it will have serious consequence on it. As it has become a daily phenomenon, the issue needs to debated and discussed at various levels by social scientist so that causes which are responsible for it are known and a policy is framed to counter this phenomenon.
In case we continue to ignore it will create social unrest in coming times.
