SRINAGAR, Oct 9: The State Government today said that there is no proposal of making engagements on daily wage basis.
Responding in a written reply to a Question posed by the MLA Altaf Ahmad Wani, Finance Ministry said: “There is no proposal of making engagements on daily wage basis under consideration of Government at present.”
The reply further reads: “The State Government has already imposed ban on engagement of daily wagers vide Government order No 26-F of 1994 dated 31-01-1994 effective from 31-01-1994.”
