No stone left unturned for holistic development of Bhaderwah: Ex-MLA

JAMMU, Feb 1: Former MLA from Bhaderwah Daleep Singh Parihar today said that he has left no stone unturned to ensure holistic development of the constituency.
In a statement, the former BJP MLA said, “with great efforts and full cooperation of the Central Government, three mega projects of thousands of crores of rupees have been sanctioned for the area”.
He said that Thathri-Kalhotram-Khaljugaser (Doda) to Kahan Chachool (Chamba) National Highway will provide better road connectivity in the mountain blocked Bhalesa and increase job opportunities for the people.
“Up-gradation of Pul Doda-Bhaderwah-Basohli road to the level of National Highway with 6.8 kilometer long Chattergala tunnel will not only increase the tourism potential of Bhaderwah but also serve as alternate defence road”, he further said.
He claimed that 41 water supply schemes were sanctioned and completed in all respect in all the three divisions of Bhaderwah, Bhalesa and Chiralla to meet the drinking water requirement of the people.
He further said that about 4 motorable bridges and six TMT steel bridges were sanctioned and completed to relieve the sufferings of the people during rainy reason. Moreover, 9500 wooden poles were replaced with iron poles, 110 stations were upgraded, 75 new stations and three new transformers of high voltage were sanctioned.
About health sector, he said that five new PHCs were sanctioned, 20 Sub-Centres were established and buildings of two Sub-Centres are being constructed.
To provide best schooling facilities to the students, buildings of 13 High Schools have been completed and work on Government Degree College Kulhotran is nearing completion besides various schools in the constitution were upgraded to next higher level.
