RAJOURI, June 16: A nomad girl was killed in lightning incident in Kandi area of district Rajouri last evening.
The deceased has been identified as Rabina Kouser (18), daughter of Kala Khan, resident of Hubbi. It was raining with thunder storm in the higher reaches of Hubbi. She was grazing cattle when the incident took place. A strong beam of light from the sky hit the girl, killing her on the spot. Two cattle were also injured in the incident.
