SRINAGAR, Nov 20: A local court today issued non-bailable warrant against two cops accused in the killing of a school boy, Wamiq Farooq, in 2010.
The Court of Forest Magistrate Srinagar, B A Munshi, today directed Senior Superintendent Srinagar to arrest the two accused cops.
Wamiq Farooq was killed on January 31, 2010 when a teargas shell allegedly hit him on the head near Gani Memorial Stadium at Rajouri Kadal in old city Srinagar.
The court directed the police to present the ASI Abdul Khaliq and SPO Muhammad Akram before the court on December 1, 2015.
ASI Khaliq had approach the Supreme Court of India for registering of counter FIR against the accused but the Apex Court set aside his petition.
