JAMMU, Aug 27: A rally was organized by Non Camp Organization (NCO) at Press Club to Relief Commissioner’s Office here today demanding allotment of quarters to 190 families residing in non camp area.
As per a release, the rally was led by Nana Ji Dambi, president of the organization. While addressing the rally he appealed Relief Commissioner for early allotment of quarters at Jagti to the migrants putting up in rented accommodations as they are facing many hardships and problems.
He also demanded enhancement of cash relief to Rs 15,000 and implementation of employment package.
Later Relief Commissioner R K Pandita assured the rally that all steps will be taken regarding allotment of quarters to them. He urged them to have patience as allotment will be made turn by turn a release issued by the organization said.
