JAMMU, Apr 19: A non-local couple was injured in a blast at village Jaglanoo in Koteranka area of Rajouri district tonight.
Site of the blast was just two kilometers away from Koteranka town where two powerful explosions took place on March 27 which haven’t been worked out by the Rajouri Police so far.
Militants in Kashmir have quite often been targeting the non-locals.
Non-local couple injured in the blast at Jaglanoo was identified as Vinod and his wife Kranti, both residents of Etah district in Uttar Pradesh.
The couple, putting up in a shanty, were immediately shifted to hospital where their condition was stated to be stable.
Police described the blast as mysterious.
An official statement said a mysterious explosion took place outside a slum in Koteranka area.
“A husband and wife duo sustained injuries. Both hospitalized and are out of danger. Area under searches. Investigation set into motion and cause of explosion is being ascertained,” the statement said.
