JAMMU, Apr 12: Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (JKBJP) has welcomed the timely decision of JK Government for limiting Darbar Move this year in view of world pendemic coronavirus.
The BJP chief spokesman, Advocate Sunil Sethi in a statement issued here, today said this decision has been taken to stop spread of Corona more rapidly in the people particularly Government move employees apart from saving huge expenses during this time of Corona induced Recession in Jammu & Kashmir.
Sethi said that had Government resorted to normal Darbar Move it would have led to thousands of people moving from one region to other which would have been fatal and additionally as Kashmir region is already reeling under huge pressure on medicare because of relatively large number of cases of Corona positive , it could have led to chaos on medicare .
He said Darbar Move during these times could have increased number of Corona patients in Kashmir to unmanageable scale and further put to risk and scare the Move Employees and their families. As India is passing through lockdown period which has resulted in containment of problem to larger extent , there can’t be relaxation to the effort for any reason. But for movements of infected Tablighi Jammat in the public and spreading Corona to innocent public , the number would have been much less, he added.
Sunil Sethi further said that some political persons are trying to incite public by making politically motivated statements without understanding the ground realities. Statement made by former Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah in this regard criticizing Darbar Move decision, is childish and bereft of any factual truth. By such irresponsible statements he is trying to push the masses towards Corona and death for some cheap publicity, he added.
While welcoming the decision of Government on Durbar move which is in view of existing Emergency and unprecedented situation of global pendemic, he called upon people of Jammu and Kashmir to stand with decision to save their lives and expose politicians trying to promote anarchy and bringing disaster at the door steps of public which is fighting for survival.
