Normal ties not possible

Sir,
This has reference to the news item ‘Normal ties not possible till Pak stops infiltration’ DE Oct 10.
The Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has very rightly said that it was impossible for India to normalise its relations with Pakistan till the neighbouring country does not stop infiltration and ceasefire violations.
Terror and talks can not go together. Unless Pakistan dismantles terror camps existing in the country, there are remote chances that the relations between the two countries can improve in near future. The relationship will remain hostage to militants who are bent on creating havoc throughout the world. India has time and again made peace overtures to Pakistan, but Pakistan has never been sincere in her approach.
The Lahore bus yatra undertake by the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was sabotaged by Kargil war, so was the Manmohan Singh – Nawaz Sharif talks in New York were followed by Keran infiltration. Talks can prove successful only when Pakistan dismantles terror network flourishing on its soil. Besides, Pakistan has to change its policy of extending, what it calls, moral support to Kashmir  cause. Pakistan has to change its heart. If it succeeds in doing so, normal ties will get automatically restored.
Yours etc…
