Northern Command Chief visits LoC

UDHAMPUR, May 7: GOC-in-C, Northern Command, Lt Gen KT Parnaik accompanied by GOC, Chinar Crops, Lt Gen SA Hasnain visited Line of Control in Kupwara Sector and reviewed operational preparedness.
GOC, Chinar Crops, briefed him about the operational preparedness and the situation on the Line of Control and thereafter Parnaik interacted with the troops deployed on LoC in high altitudes areas.
Later on, the Army Commander also visited troops deployed in hinterland. While interacting with the troops, Lt. Gen Parnaik complimented them for their outstanding vigilance, state of preparedness and the manner in which they have respected all Human Right norms.
