JAMMU, Aug 18: To promote national integration and communal harmony and spread the message of goodwill towards everyone and eschewing violence, Sadbhavana Diwas was observed today at Headquarters Office, Baroda House, New Delhi.
Shobhan Chaudhuri, General Manager of Northern Railway, administered the pledge in a simple ceremony held at Baroda House. Senior Railway officials and staff were also present on the occasion to take Sadbhavana Oath.
Speaking on the occasion, Chaudhuri said that emotional oneness and harmony of all the people of India regardless of caste, region, religion or language and to resolve all differences through dialogue and constitutional means without resorting to violence is very important for the progress of the nation.
