Noted Kashmiri artist Jameela joins Apni Party

SRINAGAR, Apr 10: Renowned Kashmiri  artist and singer, Haqani Jameela Khan from Batamaloo in Srinagar today joined Apni Party at its office in Lal Chowk, Srinagar.
The joining ceremony took place in presence of Party’s Provincial president Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir, State secretary and District president Budgam Muntazir Mohi-ud-Din, Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi, District president Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh, District president Kupwara Raja Manzoor, District president Pulwama Ghulam Mohammad Mir, DDC Chairman Srinagar Aftab Malik, DDC vice chairman Srinagar Bilal Bhat and District organiser Shopian, Athar Reshi.
Welcoming the new entrant into the party-fold, Mohammad Ashraf Mir asserted that Apni Party adheres to the principle of ‘politics of truth’ which demands sincerity and efforts at grass root level.
“Apni Party is open to all those who wish to serve the people of J&K and put unstinted efforts to alleviate their sufferings,” Mir said.
He also said that the situation in J&K remains appalling with regard to the abrupt stagnation of various developmental projects due to the lackadaisical approach of the current administration.
Jameela Khan thanked the party leadership for providing her with such a magnanimous platform and pledged to work for the welfare of the people.
