Nothing new in CMP set by BJP-PDP coalition Government: Omar

SRINAGAR:
Taking a pot-shot at the Common Minimum Programme (CMP) ironed out by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) before forming a coalition Government, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah said that there was nothing new in it.
“I’ve taken my time with the CMP ’cause I wanted to find something new, something to compliment so I’m not unnecessarily critical. Am looking,” Mr Abdullah wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
Mr Abdullah, who is also the working president of National Conference (NC), had earlier said that he will only react to the CMP once he studies it. “No knee jerk reactions to the Modi-Mufti accord document. Will study it & react after a couple of hours,” he wrote earlier. (AGENCIES)
