JAMMU, Oct 30: A notorious burglar was detained under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) here today, officials said.
Ayoub Ahmed of Kodi Chandyal, Billawar, at present Bari Brahamana, was wanted in several cases of burglaries registered in different districts of Jammu, they said, adding that in Jammu District, he was wanted in 10 different cases registered at Police Stations Arnia, Bahu Fort, and Gangyal.
Today, on the direction of SSP Jammu, he was arrested and booked under PSA by a team of Gangyal Police led by SHO Gangyal Ajay Chib under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma, and SP South Shaheen Wahid.
