JAMMU, Mar 9: Arnia Police arrested a notorious criminal, who was evading his arrest from the past 6 months.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Arnia led by SHO Inspector Harjeet Singh under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan apprehended the notorious criminal, who was at large from the past six months.
The arrested criminal was identified as Manoj Kumar alias Moja, son of Ashok Kumar, a resident of RS Pura.
It is pertinent to mention here that 15 FIRs have already been registered against him in different Police Stations of Jammu District. Accused is a notorious history sheeter also.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 189/2020 under Sections 341, 325, 326, 147, 148 and 307 IPC and 4/25 Arms Act with Police Station RS Pura. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by Court.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
