JAMMU, June 23: A notorious criminal was arrested and booked under the PIT NDPS Act here in Miran Sahib Area today.
A police spokesperson said that notorious criminal Sahil Choudhary was arrested by a team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna, assisted by SHO Miran Sahib, Inspector Bopinder Singh.
The accused, known for his involvement in various heinous criminal cases, including NDPS Act and armed acts, was later booked under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT NDPS) Act, said the police spokesperson.
“The arrest was made possible through a combination of technical assistance and effective police intervention. The accused has been shifted to District Jail Amphalla, Jammu, following the execution of the warrant issued against him,” he said.
