JAMMU, Sept 26: A notorious criminal was booked under the PIT NDPS Act here at Akhnoor area of the District, officials said.
After getting reliable information about Vikram Singh @Kaka of Lehar Sungal, Tehsil Akhnoor, District Jammu, special teams of Police Station Akhnoor led by SDPO Mohan Lal Sharma assisted by SHO Akhnoor Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq raided the suspected location and arrested the notorious drug peddler, they said.
A warrant of arrest against the accused was issued by Divisional Commissioner Jammu, officials said.
Complying with the directions, the accused was arrested and shifted to District Jail Amphalla, they added.
