JAMMU, Apr 23: A notorious criminal has been booked under stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) and will be lodged in Central Jail at Kot Bhalwal in district Jammu.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Mirza Sultan and assisted by Incharge Border Police Post (BPP) Kullian ASI Ranjit Singh under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh apprehended a notorious criminal identified as Navjot Singh alias Bablu, son of Amar Singh of Indira Nagar Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu.
Many criminal cases stand registered against the arrested notorious criminal at Police Station Miran Sahib and other Police Stations of District Jammu.
PSA warrant has already been issued against him by District Magistrate Jammu. He will be lodged in Central Jail at Kot Bhalwal in District Jammu tomorrow.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu Ramnish Gupta.
