JAMMU, Feb 1: A notorious criminal was arrested under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT NDPS) Act by Police in Miran Sahib area here.
Gagandeep Singh alias Gaggi of Simbal Camp, Jammu, was wanted in several criminal cases, a police official said, adding that an arrest warrant under PIT NDPS Act against the accused was also issued by the Divisional Commissioner.
He said information was received about the criminal today and accordingly, a team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO concerned, raided the suspected place and arrested the criminal and shifted him to District Jail Kathua.
