RAMBAN, Oct 30: Police arrested a notorious criminal, who was wanted in various cases.
As per police sources, police team from Gool police station nabbed a notorious criminal, who was wanted in various cases.
The accused has been identified as Mumtaz Ahmed alias Asif, son of Haleem Gujjar of Harra Gool.
He was involved in cases registered under FIR numbers 82/2002 under Sections 307 and 121-A RPC, 100/2002 under Sections 43, 364, 341 and 121-A RPC, 7/27 Arms Act, 43/2003 under Sections 302, 364 and 121-A RPC, 2/2004 under Section 402, 303 and 121-A RPC, 3/2004 under Sections 302, 364 and 121-A RPC, 8/2006 under Sections 436 RPC, 7/27 Arms Act.
Further investigation into the cases registered against the accused is going on.
Police team led by SHO Gool police station made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
