JAMMU, Mar 7: A notorious criminal was arrested today by RS Pura police after about 5 years.
A special police party of police station Miran Sahib constituted by SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan and led by SHO Miran Sahib Gurpal Singh apprehended a notorious criminal Rajan Mashi son of Puran Mashi, resident of Bahadur Khan, Miran Sahib from Bishnah.
The accused was evading arrest since 2015. He was involved and wanted in FIR number 91/2015 U/S 451/436-A/354/147/323/201/504/506 RPC, 4/25 Arms Act of police station Miran Sahib. Many times earlier, he had given slip to police.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu Aadil Hamid and under the overall direction of SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
