JAMMU, Feb 22: A notorious drug peddler was booked today under PIT NDPS by Bishnah Police.
The accused namely Poli Devi wife of Baldev Raj Sansi resident of Kothey Bulandey (Bishnah), who was evading his arrests in multiple cases, was arrested by a team of Police Station Bishnah led by the SHO during a raid at a suspected place following the inputs.
It is pertinent to mention that a warrant under PIT NDPS was also issued against the accused by the Divisional Commissioner Jammu. The accused was habitual of indulging in criminal activities and there were 8 different cases in which accused was involved.
Finally, today the warrant was executed and the accused was sent to District Jail Kathua.
