Rajouri, June 28: The district authorities in Rajouri have booked a notorious criminal and Narcotics smuggler under Public Safety Act and detained the accused.
Police said that notorious drug peddler namely Haroon Rashid, son of Abdul Rashid, resident of ward 2, Rajouri has been booked and detained under PSA.
The accused was involved in Case FIR No 720/2018 u/s 8(a)/21/29 NDPS Act,Case FIR No 468/2020 u/s 8(a)/21/29 NDPS Act, Case FIR No 36/2022 u/s 8/21/29 NDPS Act of Police Station Rajouri and is notorious drug peddler in Rajouri and also in adjoining areas and indulged in sale of drugs to youth.
He has been detained under PSA by the order of Divisional Commissioner Jammu after a detailed report submitted by district police Rajouri.
