JAMMU, Mar 17: A notorious drug peddler was arrested with 35 grams of heroin in Pounichak area here today.
A police spokesperson said that a team of Police Post Pounichak led by incharge Police Post stopped a suspected person for checking at Bhagatpur area.
On search of the suspect, later identified as Sachin of Khour Deonian, 35 grams of heroin was recovered.
Accordingly, the accused has been booked in case FIR number 63/2024 under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Domana and further investigation taken up.
