JAMMU, Mar 17: The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Jammu has arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered from his possession commercial quantity of Charas.
An ANTF spokesperson said Ravi Raj of Aghar Jito, Katra, Reasi was arrested with the consignment from Circular Road, near Panjtirthi, Jammu by a team of ANTF led by Inspector Meenu Sharma, under the supervision of Tanveer Hussain, DySP ANTF Jammu and overall supervision of Raj Kumar, SSP ANTF Jammu.
Accordingly, he said, the accused has been booked in case FIR number 05/2024 Under Sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station ANTF Jammu and further investigation set into motion.
