DODA, Jan 16: Police here today booked a notorious drug peddler and put him behind the bars under preventive custody.
Police sources informed that a number of complaints were received at Police Station Bhadarwah against Saqib Ahmed son of Hafizullah Sheikh, resident of, Chinar Mohalla Bhadarwah for his involvement in drug peddling and alluring the younger generation to consume and supply drugs.
Acting upon the information, Police swung into action and a detailed report regarding his involvement in drugs as well as in involving other youth in the same was prepared by Police and a Police party led by Inspector, Jatinder Singh Rakwal, SHO Bhadarwah apprehended the drug peddler and produced him before the Executive Magistrate Class 1st Bhadarwah wherefrom he was sent to District Jail Bhadarwah under preventive detention.
