DODA, Apr 1: Bhaderwah police today booked one notorious drug peddler and lodged him in District Jail Bhaderwah as preventive detention.
While giving details, a police spokesperson said that a number of complaints were being received at Police Station Bhaderwah regarding involvement of one person namely Zeshan son of late Ajaz Iqbal, resident of Chakka in drug peddling.
He said acting upon the complaint, a detailed report of his involvement in drug peddling was prepared and a team of Police Station Bhaderwah led by Inspector Jatinder Singh Rakwal (SHO) assisted by PSI Bhopinder Sharma, arrested the accused and produced him before the Executive Magistrate 1st Class Bhaderwah, from where he was sent to District Jail Bhaderwah under preventive detention.
