JAMMU, Dec 28: Janipur Police solved a fraud case with the arrest of notorious fraudster.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged at Police Station by a person namely Shashi Singh, son of Punjab Singh of Doda on being cheated by a fraudster namely Manish Kumar, son of Gopal Singh Khuswaa, a resident of New Abadi Ramgarh, Agra, UP for providing visa and work permit of Malaysia and Macau for which he paid Rs 2.80 lakh to him.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 13/2020 under Section 420 IPC was registered at Police Station Janipur and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Janipur Police Station led by SHO Inspector Gurmeet Singh under the guidance of SP City North PD Nitya arrested the accused from Chandigarh by using assistance of technical team coupled with human intelligence.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
