JAMMU, Oct 31: Narwal Police arrested a notorious lady drug peddler along with ganja and heroin.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Post Narwal led by SI Achal Rana under the supervision of SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Deepak Pathania and SDPO East Sajad Sarwar laid a naka and intercepted a lady, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 2.300 kilograms ganja and 6.50 grams heroin from the possession of the lady and arrested her.
The arrested lady was identified as Shakeela Devi, wife of Late Ashok Kumar of Rajeev Nagar Narwal District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 353/2021 under Section 8/20/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment and other persons involved in this illegal trade.
