UDHAMPUR, Aug 3: National Panthers Party (NPP) burnt the effigy of State Government for shifting of AIIMS to Kashmir from Jammu, here today.
The NPP demonstration was held under the leadership of Sukhdev Singh, NPP State general secretary. Demonstrators were raising slogans against Union Government of India and BJP-PDP coalition Government of J&K.
While addressing the protestors, Sukhdev Singh said that BJP has always claimed a pro Jammu political party but now it has been exposed on the issue of AIIMS. He claimed that BJP has shut its eyes on the issue of AIIMS for the sake of power.
Singh appealed people of Jammu region to struggle unitedly against the nefarious design of State and Union Government of India.
NPP leaders, Sarpanch Sunil Gudda, Jagdev Singh Jagga, Gulshan Kesar and Sanjay Sharma were also present among others in the demonstration of NPP.
