NEW DELHI, June 11: National Panthers Party leader Prof Bhim Singh has alleged that both the BJP MPs from Jammu remained silent when Kashmiri MP from PDP Mehbooba Mufti was advocating for SAARC status for Kashmir and demanding that Parliament should hold special session to resolve Kashmir- issue.
Prof Singh, a member National Integration Council while commenting on Mehbooba Mufti’s way to promote Hurriyat agenda in Lok Sabha, accused the recently elected BJP MPs from Jammu region to keep silence rather than submitting to the Kashmiri members’ demand. He questioned why Jammu MPs failed to raise the voice of Jammu refugees, migrants and youth who have been worst sufferers of the so called Kashmiriyat which has been exploited by the Kashmiri political leaders just to gain power at the cost of peace and normalcy.
