JAMMU, Mar 25: National Public Playway and High School organised a Prize Distribution Ceremony 2016 in the School premises at Shiv Nagar, here today.
Vidya Bhushan, renowned TV, Film and Theatre personality of J&K was the chief guest on the occasion, while Madan Lal Sharma, member of the School Committee and Vaishno Verma , Principal of the School were the guests of honour and Tarun Sharma president & Founder Nat Manch was the special guest. Sulekha, sports in-charge was also present.
The winners of Inter School events of the previous two months were felicitated on the occasion.
The chief guest, in his address, said education helps the child to provide an environment so that the child becomes what he is capable of, adding that today the need is to start a collaborative teaching methodology wherein the parents are taken as partners in the education system.
Guest of honour said that the school has given good academic results, which would continue in future too.
Vaishno Verma gave her best wishes and motivated the students to face challenges with grit and determination.
Special guest, Tarun Sharma inspired the children to believe in hard work and make winning a habit.
The vote of thanks was presented by the Principal Vaishno Verma. The programme concluded with the singing of National Anthem.
