JAMMU, Apr 1: National Panthers Party MLA from Udhampur, Balwant Singh Mankotia today submitted copy of Justice Bedi Commission report into the mysterious death of National Conference worker Haji Yousaf to the Speaker of Legislative Assembly, Mubarak Gul.
Raising the issue during Zero Hour, Mr Mankotia said, “yesterday I had demanded tabling of Justice Bedi Commission report in the House but Government has not responded”.
While submitting copy of the report to the Speaker, the NPP MLA said, “we have the copy of the report duly signed by the Government. If you permit we will table the report on behalf of the Government”.
However, Speaker remarked, “it is not necessary that the Government tables each and every report of the committees or commissions in the House”.
