NPP opposes move to shift Dogra treasure to Kashmir

JAMMU, Apr 18: Chief patron of  National Panthers Party  Prof Bhim  Singh today said that present dispensation has been working to destroy Dogra culture, art and literature.
In a communication to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi today,  the NPP leader said that  it was Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee who granted a special status to the Dogri language in the 8th Schedule of  the Constitution of India. The rulers of J&K, presently belong to BJP and PDP having  a common goal to destroy Dogra Art, Culture and Literature. The first gift of the RSS dominated Government of J&K has come under surface-Art Treasure of Jammu has been ordered to be shifted to Srinagar.    This is another stroke to demolish the Dogra art,  literature and its centuries’ old culture.
Prof  Bhim Singh flashed this letter to the Prime Minister to seek his intervention to save Dogra art, literature, paintings and its art treasure from the Mughal like invasion who looted India’s treasures of art and literature.
Prof Singh warned that  Government should apologize for this invasion against Dogra art, literature and treasure unless the people of entire Jammu Pradesh shall take up all legal, constitutional and democratic means and methods to save treasures of their art,  literature and history. He said that the people of Jammu, particularly the youth shall never allow the RSS-PDP Government such an insulting invasion to challenge the Dogra identity and the pride of the people of Jammu Pradesh from Kishtwar to Poonch and Banihal to Kathua.
Bhim Singh also urged the Panthers Party activists  to prepare for a joint-democratic `Jammu Save Front’ to fight against  rulers of BJP-PDP.
