NPP to fight against ‘Coalition Mis-rule’: Harshdev

Jammu, Nov 11: NPP Chairman Harshdev Singh was accorded a rousing reception at Ramnagar today on his visit to the town after assuming the charge of Chairman of the party. A large number of party activists hailed their MLA amid shouting of slogans and beating of drums. On his arrival in the town a profusely garlanded Harshdev Singh was carried on shoulders by enthusiastic party workers. He was accompanied by party MLA and State president Balwant Singh Mankotia, Yash Paul Kundal MLA and party general secretary besides several senior leaders of the party.
Addressing the people Mr Singh re-iterated the resolve of the party to fight for equitable treatment and justice to all regions of the State without any bias, ill will or malice against any region. Pointing towards specific instances of bias and prejudicial treatment to Jammu region, Mr Singh sought equitable share in allocation of funds, employment opportunities, developmental schemes, tourism promotion, power, health and education sectors and said that JKNPP would vigorously agitate the said issues in Assembly and outside.
Urging upon the party leaders and activists to work with dedication and commitment for redressing the peoples grievances, he assured them to take the fight against coalition mis-rule to its logical end. He said JKNPP had to shoulder a bigger responsibility and had a greater role in the days to come in view of utter failure of the Govt and its total collapse in handling the affairs of the State. He urged upon the party men to be prepared for a decisive battle against the ruling  alliance for prevailing chaos,  non-performance, mis-governance, red tape, fractured work culture, lack of accountability and transparency, fiscal indiscipline , patronized corruption, poor Govt deliverance besides regional bias.
Expressing solidarity with the cause of unemployed youth including Physiotherapists, Engineers, ITI diploma/degree holders, Agricultural technocrats, Social  Forestry graduates, Architecture graduates, Computer engineers graduates, Electropaths, Medical Degree holders, ReTs, Education volunteers, daily rated workers , contractual, adhoc and consolidated workers besides other Unemployed degree and diploma holders, Mr. Singh declared to espouse their cause vociferously and vigorously at all foras.
Mr. Harshdev Singh said that the Govt. has been high on rhetoric and low on delivery with all its tall claims, airy slogans and loud pronouncements having fallen flat. He said despite liberal Central funding and a plethora of Centrally sponsored schemes, the delivery on the ground has been negligible.
