JAMMU, Apr 21: Former Legislator and chief patron of National Panthers Party (NPP) Prof  Bhim Singh today said that his party will contest coming Assembly elections at its own and emerge as the largest party in the State this time.
Addressing a press conference here today, the NPP leader said that Congress and National Conference will meet their waterloo and both the parties stand exposed for their `unfair’ activities. He strongly appealed the angry leadership of Kashmir valley including the Hurriyat Conference to demonstrate their wisdom and courage by jumping into the election fray so that they may find an opportunity to claim legal and political right to represent the sufferings people in the Valley.
Referring to the one day leadership training camp of the party that concluded yesterday, Prof Singh said that NPP  leadership has come to the conclusion that neither autonomy nor self-rule or independence have any relevance left in the given situation. The leadership camp came out with one word solution `Reorganization’. This is the only solution to end 63 year old  horror of authoritarian rule of NC and Congress.
The NPP leadership has decided to go for coming Assembly elections at its own strength and political agenda because there is not a single party which has any solution to the problems of the people from Ladakh, Kashmir valley and Jammu Pradesh. He demanded that Civil Secretariat should be made functional at both places, Srinagar and Jammu and delimitation should be held without much delay. This Darbar move practice will help the State in saving Rs 600 crore annually which can be utilized to provide social security and health care to the deserving people in the State.
