NPP to launch movement for reorganization of J&K

JAMMU, Mar 24: National Panthers Party (NPP) will launch a civil disobedience movement in the State for the reorganization of the State and amendment in Article 370.
This was stated by Prof Bhim Singh, Chief Patron, NPP, during a press conference here today.
He added that BJP had sold out the interest of the people of Jammu to PDP just for the sake of power and surrendered to PDP even the security of the State.
Prof Singh demanded implementation of Supreme Court direction to provide full relief to the Jammu migrant including those camping in Talwara without any delay.
He said that withdrawal of Army from Bani area of Kathua District smacks conspiracy that a district struck with terror has been made soft for the terrorists by the anti-national policy of Narendra Modi Government.
Prof Bhim Singh said the Delimitation of the Assembly Constituencies must be held immediately and the Civil Secretariat should function around the year both in Srinagar and Jammu.
Later, Prof Bhim Singh also visited the striking temporary teachers, Civil Defence volunteers and nomad tribes volunteers sitting on protest outside the Press Club and assured that JKNPP shall fight for their cause from the streets to the Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, Chief Returning Officer and senior Advocate BB Kotwal announced the re-election of Harshdev Singh, Former Education Minister and Balwant Singh Mankotia, former MLA Udhampur as Chairman and President of the party for the next three years.
He also declared 15 members of the Working Committee. The members are Harshdev Singh, Balwant Singh, Yashpal Kundal, Bansi Lal Sharma, Mohammad Iqbal, PK Ganju, Anita Thakur, Farooq Ahmad Dar, Masood Andrabi, HC Jalmeria, Ashfaq Rana, Paramjeet Singh Marshal, Rajesh Pargotra, Sewa Singh Bali and Ghulam Mustafa Wani.
Harshdev Singh and Balwant Singh Mankotia also declared 16 nominated members of the Working Committee and special invitees.
The 16 nominated members are BB Kotwal, Rajinder Manju, Basharat Ali, Jagdev Singh, Dhani Ram Atri, Neeraj Gupta, Ashok Randhawa, Jiya Lal Verma, Mehboob Illahi, Parshotam Parihar, Balwan Singh, Pushvinder Manhas, Pawan Dev Singh, Kesar Parveen, Gagan Pratap Singh and Jhangir Khan.
The special invitees are Prof (Dr) DL Choudhary, Rajinder Wazir, Virender Thakur, Sudesh Kumar Sharma, RS Dogra, Vilakshan Singh, BS Biloria, Romesh Khajuria and Ashok Kumar.
