NPS employees against reopening of schools

JAMMU, Sept 18: All J&K NPS Employees United Front (JKNEUF) has urged upon J&K Lieutenant Governor to postpone the reopening of schools from class 9-12 in J&K.
In a handout the Front also demanded postponement of Block Diwas celebration and Back to Village programme in the wake of increase in COVID-19 pandemic cases.
In a handout Front stated that number of Corona positive cases has increased alarmingly after Unlock 3 as the frequency of RAT has increased.
Front leaders claimed that despite following the guidelines and maintaining all the precautions many Members of Parliament, staffers of Civil Secretariat and employees of almost all the government departments have been infected by COVID-19 pandemic.
They apprehended if the virus infects more people in coming days then it will be difficult for the administration will to cope with the situation.
