JAMMU, Dec 18: All India Pension Restoration United Front has given a protest call for January 1 and January 2, 2023 at Press Club Jammu and Press Colony Srinagar.
In a handout Front stated that its members will observe black day on January 1, 2023 and will stage a protest demonstration on January 2, 2023 in support of their demand of restoration of Old Pension Scheme for the employees of J&K.
It is worthwhile to mention here that on January 1, 2010 the old pension scheme was stopped.
The protest calendar was announced in a meeting of the Front chaired by Bhupinder Singh, president JKTA and national convenor of Front and attended by Sudesh Kumar, district president Udhampur JKTA; Surjeet Singh, district chairman, JKTA and others
Bhupinder Singh said the protest will be held at 11 am on both days and in Srinagar it will be held under the leadership of Shah Fayaz, chairman JKTA.
