JAMMU, June 15 : The members of NPSU held a massive protest demonstration against the PDD and PHE for abnormal cuts and non-supply of water in Akhnoor town and in villages of Akhnoor at Main Chowk Akhnoor.
The protest was led by Atul Sudan provincial secretary NPSU. He strongly criticized the working of these two departments and alleged sheer discrimination with Jammu region has added to miseries of people many fold.
The residents from various villages participated in the demonstration at Akhnoor. They alleged that Government was concentrating more on Valley instead of looking into the genuine demands of the people of this region who are facing severe power and water crisis since the Darbar Move and the Government has till date failed to take steps to improve the situation.
