JAMMU, Jan 9: National Panthers Student Union (NPSU) today held a protest against the BJP-PDP led State Government for playing with the future of Jammuites.
A large number of student activists gathered here at the Press Club and raised slogans against the State Government. The angry protesters also burnt the effigy of the State Government.
The protest was led by Thakur Virender Singh, State president, NPSU, who speaking on the occasion, said that recent act in which the CM distributed the appointment letters amongst the stone pelters, clearly shows that the State Government is working in favour of anti-nationalist people and is doing each and every thing to appease them.
“On the other hand, the nationalist people of Jammu and Ladakh region are being neglected in every recruitment process”, he said, and warned the Government that if this kind of anti- Jammu and appeasing behaviour of Government towards anti-nationals will continue then it will have to face the wrath of the people of Jammu.
