NPSU protests for introducing Dogra history in curriculum

JAMMU, Apr 4: NPSU held a protest demonstration  for introducing  Dogra history in the syllabi of school and college levels.
The protest was held near Jammu University main gate and led by Thakur Virender Singh, president NPSU, JU unit.   The activist of NPSU  shouted slogans against the State Government and for promoting the Dogra history at school and college levels.
While addressing the protesters,  Virender Singh said that the Dogra history should be taught in schools and colleges as the young generation of today does  not know about the great Dogra warriors like Maharaja Hari Singh, Maharaja Gulab Singh, Gen  Zorawar Singh, Brig  Rajinder Singh etc.
He alleged that Kashmiri leadership, under conspiracy, was  trying to erase the memories of great Dogras from the minds of coming generations.
Those who participated in  the protest, included  Pritam Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Amir Khan, Shubam Jamwal, Rajat Sudan, Deepak Sharma, Jatin Singh Manhas, Jai Dev Singh, Aslam Wani, Vikram Sharma, Sunny Manhas, Mohd. Neem, Waqar Khan, Mohan Singh, Ashif Shah, Vishal Kumar and others.
