NPSU terms JKP’s recruitment drive as eye wash

JAMMU, June 7: Terming the recruitment drive conducted by JKP recently as an eye wash, the activists of National Panthers Student Union (NPSU) held a protest demonstration at the main gate of Government Degree College, Paloura.
The activists assembled at the main gate of the College and raised slogans against the Government and the JKP authorities for their step-motherly behaviour towards the youth of the Jammu region.
Addressing the gathering, Partap Singh Jamwal, provincial president, NPSU, said that the Government is discriminating with Jammu region in all aspects, whether employment, centrally sponsored schemes, etc.
He alleged that the special recruitment drive by the police department has favoured some blue-eyed persons.
He said that according to the guidelines of the Supreme Court, there should be notice mentioning the criteria of recruitment, but in this case, no notice was issued. He alleged that the same was done to give preferences to some blue-eyed persons through back door.
Among others present were Deepak Raj Panday, Rawat Manhas, Mahesh Bakshi, Sahil Mushtaq, Prikshit Jamwal, Shubham Kotwal, Sidharth Dogra, etc.
