NSF accuses Director TBS of providing wrong information

JAMMU, June 4: National Secular Forum (NSF) today accused Director of The Business School in Jammu University of providing misleading information on the External Examiners for the PhD viva voice.
Addressing a press-media here today, NSF vice-president Sukhdev Singh alleged that all the scholars who had appeared in the viva voice for the fulfilment of the PhD Degree were not interviewed by expert from particular field but others as revealed in the RTI.
In the same RTI, it has also been claimed that TBS convention-cum-seminar hall is the extension of the class room and being utilized by the students free of cost. “If this seminar/conventional hall is being utilized free of cost then from where the funds for maintenance and other expenses such as electricity, generator, fuel, cleanliness and so more are being drawn,” he asked?
Giving reference of another RTI, the NSF leader informed that the Director TBS has no record about the total number of students who have been selected in the campus placement.
Producing one more RTI on declaration of re-evaluation result after five months, the NSF leader lamented that instead of penalizing the Controller of Examinations, the Vice-Chancellor rewarded him with top most administrative position. He demanded that the new Registrar should be removed and replaced with some competent and capable person to restore the credibility of the post.
