JAMMU, July 24: Holding BJP Government responsible for converting City of Temples into City of Toll Plazas, National Secular Forum today lambasted the party leaders for being `disloyal’ to their voters who are being subjected to tremendous sufferings due to anti Jammu policies.
Addressing a press conference today, Dr Vikas Sharma, State President of NSF, recalled the bundles of promises and commitments made to the public at the time of general and Assembly elections by BJP and rued that instead of addressing issues of general public, the party is encouraging open loot through Toll Plazas
“This Government has imposed four Toll Plazas in Jammu Division from Lakhanpur upto Nassri Tunnel within 190 kilometers approximately whereas in Kashmir division covering 140 kilometers from Jawahar Tunnel to Kupwara district, there is only one Toll plaza , which speaks of the discriminatory attitude towards Jammu for torturing people here,” he explained and threatened to launch an agitation over the issue.
