NSF celebrates birth anniversary of Chander Shekhar Azad

JAMMU, July 23: On the 117th birth anniversary of Chander Shekhar Azad, who laid his life for the country, National Secular Forum (NSF), Jammu unit today paid rich tribute to the great freedom fighter by organizing a programme in Jammu University.
Amid patriotic slogans, NSF activists garlanded the portrait of Azad and paid him tributes during the programme wherein Dr Vikas Sharma Coordinator Jammu District (Urban) and Zonal Secretary JKNC was the chief guest while T R Sharma presided over the function. Dr Sukhdev Singh State President NSF, was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Vikas Sharma appreciated the initiative taken by the NSF members to remember the birth anniversary of Azad. He also threw light on the life and supreme sacrifice of Azad for getting the motherland librated from Britishers.
Dr Vikas also spoke on the present scenario in country and said that growing unemployment was a matter of great concern as the present regime has miserably failed to create job opportunities for the youth.
