JAMMU, Nov 19: The students and scholars under the banner of National Secular Forum (NSF) held a protest demonstration against Jammu University authorities for giving undue benefits to the tainted officers.
Raising slogans they demanded fresh inquiry against all such officers to restore the credibility of the highest learning institution.
While speaking, Ravi Choudhary, general secretary, NSF, demanded action against all blue-eyed officers. Choudhary said there are several cases where professors have been appointed without checking their eligibility criteria.
“The JU authorities have been adopting dilly dallying tactics to shield the officers due to political pressure and Vice-Chancellor should come clean on the issue and take strict action against them”, he demanded.
Among those present were Rahul Sharma, Jagmohan Singh, Simran Singh, Barket Ali, Narinder Singh, etc.
